23…That Sounds Old!

Well I turned 23 today and man does that sound old! I remember when all I wanted to was be older, now it’s starting to sound bad! 21 and 22 do not sound that bad, but 23 just sounds old to me. Of course I don’t feel old! And I guess when you get older your birthday is not that exciting. All I did today was go out to lunch with Ashley and do work! What a great birthday, right?!

The Number 23 was actually a decent movie! Too bad I can’t take Jim Carrey seriously.

Bob, you’re not old. I’m about to hit the quarter-century mark in a couple of months…. it’s weird that I write for you, eh? Considering that you’re almost 2 years my junior?

Anyways, happy b-day dude. (See, just say “young” and “hip” things like that and you’ll feel 16 again in no time, complete with the pressures of high school cliques and teenage angst).

Hah Bob, you’re gonna make me say it twice, but Happy Birthday! Mine’s tomorrow and I’ll be 22 and I totally share your thoughts on wanting to be older hah. After 21st birthday it all gets boring…

I’ll be working as well and then cooking something nice with Mandy for dinner instead of going out (to be romantic and creative :p)

23 sounds old, but things start going down hill at 24. I’m 29, but I don’t feel much different then when I was 21.
