A Temporary Situation

Well if you didn’t notice lately I have been a little behind on my blogging. This is mainly because I have been packing, moving and putting things in storage. Yeah that’s right I have moved again! Not that long ago I moved into my new apartment in the city. It turns out things didn’t really work out with my roommate. Mainly because he was completely anti-social and a complete slob, you would think by the time you are 21 you know how to clean up after yourself, but I guess not. So over the past 2 months I have been looking for a new place. I finally found a really nice place only 5 minutes from my old place, but it will not be ready till August. Not wanting to having to find a place for 2 months and not wanting to go back to my parents house my friend Jeremy was nice enough to let me crash at his place.

This is actually a good thing since I will be living with him at the new place. So this is sort of like a trial run before we move in. His place is out in Robinson, which is about 25 minutes outside of the city. This is not ideal, but like I said its better than going back to my parents. It is a real pain breaking down my entire office and setting it up there, but hey I have to do it! Right now my office is just a large folding table.

It works for now and like I said it’s only for 2 months. Everything else for the office is in storage. It’s going to be a little harder to work in such a cramped space, but it will work out. I’m finally back on track so stay tuned for a bunch of new posts here on the blog.

    Perhaps a few years from now well look back on this and realize that this roommate might of been of some “use” since it seems to me he got your head rolling into the Roommate website ;-) at the same though I know what its like having bad roommates :( Never had one as bad as yours though! :(

    It is a pity your ex-roommate turned out to be such a pig. Now imagine some poor girl has to get married to that one day. Heheheheheh. Your temporary office looks cool, you’ve got enough monitor space there to blank out everything else around you ;-)

    sometimes it seems like the only way out though. I’ve been to the lowest of lows but could never ever bring myself to do that, but I had a cousin who did and I wish he could see how it messed up our family.

    My apartment had a leak from the upstairs unit which flooded the bathroom and took the super a week to resolve with plumbers. Can I ask for a refund from my apartment management companies?

    yes, you can ask for the refund.maintenance is part of the rent of the apartment, the owner is the responsible for that.

    Sorry to hear your new place didn’t work out. But it seems like you got everything in order. Sometimes you have to deal with a not so great situation before you can get to where you are going. We all have to make sacrifices some times.

    I’ve never had a roommate but I can’t imagine what it must be like to live with one like that. You must be relieved you don’t have to share the room with someone like that anymore.
