If you have been reading this blog for a while you may have noticed that we been running on mostly third-party ads, but now we are offering advertising for anyone. With a lot of good posts coming up and
RSS subscribers increasing I though it would be a great idea to offer private advertising. Pricing is very reasonable and we have 3 available positions. The first is the 468 x 60 that you see at the top of every post. Second is the 300 x 250 ad in the first 4 posts on the front page. Finally the biggest change to the blog is the 4 125 x 125 ad spots to the right.
You can get all of the prices and you can pay directly from the advertising page. We are running ad software so you will be able to track impressions and clicks. We can even have the system e-mail you weekly stats. Please let me know what you think of the ad placements and if you have any suggestions.
Head on over to the advertising page to for more information on the ad placements and to get prices.

Just curious, what ad software are you running?
open ads
How’s your experience with it thus far?
Not divulging prices publicly? =D
Or I could read the whole post before I open a bottle of jager.
hahaha yeah….
Pricing for it is too low.
Should be at minimum 3-5$ per rss visitor.
http://www.business-opportunities.biz/projects/how-much-is-your-blog-worth/
Your blog, bobbuskirk.com/, is worth $62,663.94 ( round it at 63k ) divided by 12 = 5250.
Your advertising total is around 200$ ( (3 X 15) + (4 X 20) + (4X15).
5250$ VS 200$ , you don’t know how much your worth.
What you can’t buy with 200$ :
- Cool new Blog design.
- real Advertising.
- Worthwile Gift that attract visitor to your blog.
- Equipment and Software.
- Gym membership.
- car tires
- Add space on big blogs like john Chow.
- multiple add space on other people blog.
- Software and advertising Books.
- Flight and hotel to vegas.
- Meal with S.O. at pricy restaurants.
Etc …
You need to add a zero on your current prices for next month pricing , or if you want to go crazy outside of the box thinking you add 2 zero and use the money from 1 sale to buy advertsing or a prize offer on bigger blogs , and include a ==My price is crazy ? , make me an offer button. ==
You could also add more 125 x 125 Side Ad Sponsorship , 6 tend to be a minimum on smaller blog , You should go for 12 , in columns of 3
like zacjohnson.com does for is 6.
I agree that Bob’s ad pricing is too low, but adding a zero is too aggressive. I think about double would be fair.
For example, the 468 ad at the top is going for $15 with three rotations for a total of $45. By comparison, I offer a single rotation on my blog for $80. I’d probably sell better using his model, but adding up to my current total. Maybe $20 a rotation with 4 rotations.
I agree with that analysis.
That blog worth thing is so rigged…
As if my blog is worth $203,000!
