		<description>It's been running for 2 years.  Hasn't blown a drive yet.  Even if it does, replace it and you can take your sweet time while chugs along with one less drive. The beauty of RAID 5!

When you factor in how much of a pain in the ass it is to lose your data, the price becomes pretty small.</description>

		<description>I try to store all my website stuff on my external USB drive (it's a laptop drive in an enclosure), and keep snapshots on one of my desktop's RAID drives whenever I modify enough to feel it needs backed up.</description>
