Well today I signed up for netflix…I only did the $9.99 a month deal for 1 DVD at a time, so I will see how it goes. I also just got a DVD burner with lightscribe technology. It looks cool so I had to get it! Besides that I’m having a normal week, school and the website. I’m also feeling much better so my days are going by easier…

Well we are finally back from CES. For being our first CES I think it went well. Meeting all of our sponsors and other review sites was really great. All of the press events were cool too, especially the free food :) . As far as vegas goes I was not that impressed with it, unless you have a ton of money you want to lose then I wouldnt suggest going there. The hotels are cool and everything, but I guess it’s just not my type of place.

The plane ride back was not that bad at all, it was a direct flight so no getting off then waiting an hour for another plane. Also the secruity check went very smoothly in vegas. There were maybe 200 people in line, but it only took us 15-20min to get through security which was much better than Pittsburgh’s security. The plane ride went quick, me and kris watched Gladiator and that made time go by faster.

Well I’m finally home and now I have the flu. It really sucks, I have not been this sick in a long time. I’m not sure where I picked it up, I’m guessing on the plane. So now I have missed the first 3 days of the semester. Hopefully I will get better soon… :(

Airport Security

Well this morning I headed out to the airport for Vegas. I have never flown before so I did not know what to expect. Since 9/11 they have of course beefed up security. Thankfully in line a lady was nice enough to tell me all what I had to do, because the only signs were up by the security ppl and were printed on small 8.5″ X 11″ computer paper. Well getting into the security check-in you have to put your coat, shoes, laptop, etc in bins. The laptop itself has to be in its own bin. I forgot to take my shoes off, I guess no one noticed (good security huh?). After everything goes through the belt you have to pick it up on the other side. The other side of the belt is crazy people grabbing everything and trying to rush through, not to mention someone pushing the bins down the belt. Last week I cut my hand very bad and still had scabs on my fingers, during all this confusion one came open. The people working did not care that I was bleeding or even wanted to help. All they cared about was getting my stuff off the belt. In result I got blood on my coat and pants! Well I guess thats all I have to say for now, I’m waiting for my flight….

Well I went to starbucks today. I don’t go there that often but when I do it’s always a treat. Starbucks always has a good feeling when you walk in. Not sure what it is, maybe its the smell or the nice furniture. I think it’s because it’s so clean and quite. I wish my “office” was like that, but I guess my bedroom will do for now. Did I also mention the drinks are good, my favorite is a java chip frap. I would go there to do my work, but they charge to use the wifi. If they didn’t I would seriously consider going there more often. Anyways I’m gonna finish my frap and check out some tech news…

Well this year I was an idiot and I went shopping the friday before Christmas and the day after. And as expected both days were horrible, lines were long as hell, and everyone was in a bad mood. Both days I went to the mall. Now alot of stores in the mall do not have after Christmas sales….so why would you be in that store shopping? The only reason I went to the mall is because my girlfriend had to return things she didn’t want. That would be the only reason to be at the mall, if you were looking to buy something new why would you go shopping on one of the worst days to go shopping. All in all it was not that bad, but hey I do have to complain! Anyways back to writing reviews :)
