Don’t Blog Just to do it…
- 7 Comments... What do you have to say?
I have come across so many blogs that when I go to them and read the posts they just seem boring or they seem like they are copied from other sites. Some people blog either to make money or to try to become popular so they do the exact same things as other popular blogs out there. Now doing similar things is ok, but mimicking everything another blog does is just stupid. I don’t want to read the same thing on your blog as I read on another one.
If you are trying to post at least one blog post a day and each day you are having troubles finding something to blog about maybe you should rethink the topic of your blog. I’m tired of seeing so many boring blogs just because blogging is the new cool thing to do. And I’m tired of seeing so many blogs about the same thing I know there are more interesting things to write about than making money online. Make your blog your own, that’s what will make it unique and people will come back.

I apologize on behalf of the hordes of failures who have disappointed you. We ready to adopt your every suggestion. Oh, wait, maybe we’re NOT blogging for you.
haha I never asked you to take any of my suggestions or blog for ME, just making a point
This stuff is really true. Even i see the same kinda content in many blogs.
do u ever get to do any work between all this blogging. i sentence and my fingers are giveing up on me already
True enough - people often get excited about something, start a blog, and then it dies off. I guess that’s normal. But it’s also true that you might not really know how interested you are in something until you really spend some time with the subject. So, in one way, that’s a good thing that blogs offer. Sure, it leads to a lot of bad or abandoned blogs in the end, but it’s also the beginning of some really good ones. It’s just the messy process we need to go through, I think.
How come your mimicking John Chow then?
Even calling yourself a Dot com mogul, and having a categorie called “ramblings”.
Not to forget the two exotic cars in your head banner, that resemble the two paganis at john chow.com
… hmm start to think before you write such crap, otherwise people will recognize that you’re the one full of shit
Yikes! Seems like Scott and Benjamin may have taken your post a little too personally. I like the John Chow homage, I find it somewhat ironic. I think you’re on the right track with your post, Bob. I write about making money online and I try my best not to just regurgitate everything everyone else is saying…it’s hard work to be original in such a large niche, but it’s a fun challenge.
Also, if Scott and Benjamin could read they’d realize that you are in fact a mogul as the owner of ThinkComputers. And that has nothing to do with John Chow. I think your blog is great and I love your hair.
