Just like the title says I never thought this day would come. I started ThinkComputers back in 2002 as just a hobby, nothing I took seriously until my second year of college. From there it became a job to me, but not really. You can’t really call something you love and enjoy so much a job. Well over the past week I had to make a big decision that would not only impact me, but a few other people as well. It was probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make my entire life. Following negotiations of this past week today, April 1st ThinkComputers was acquired. Right now I cannot say who has acquired ThinkComputers, but I just wanted to let everyone know. You will see a press release online in the next few days.

Like I said it was a really hard decision for me to make. All I can say is that I was given an offer that I couldn’t refuse. The deal and the money was right. I really won’t have to have a job after this. I’m not sure what they plan on doing with ThinkComputers, but I will let you know as soon as I can talk about it.

So what am I going to do now? I think I’m going to take the rest of the year off and travel a little bit. There are so many places that I would like to see in the world. I’m thinking Japan, Germany, and a few other places. I will fill everyone in on the details of everything once the press release comes out.
