In-N-Out Burger

In-N-Out Burger is basically a west coast institution, so many people from the west coast are surprised that we don’t have In-N-Out’s here. In-N-Out burger was first opened in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California. Since then it has expanded with restaurants all over California and in Arizona and Nevada too. I was hanging out in Vegas with my good friend Jack, who is from San Diego and he said I just had to try In-N-Out, even though it was off the strip and we had to take a taxi to get there. When we arrived at the In-N-Out it was packed! I’m not used to seeing a fast food place as packed as In-N-Out was, that can only mean 1 thing…the food must be good!

Once it was our turn to order I was surprised to see that there were only 4 menu choices, a Double-Double (double cheeseburger), cheeseburger, hamburger, and fries. That keeps it pretty simple, I decided to get a double-double with fries. I’ve heard of a secret In-N-Out menu and in fact there is one, some of the items include a 3 x 3, 2 x 4 burger, “Animal Style” burger, etc. There are even stories of people doing a 100 x 100!

Well how did it taste? Honestly I have to say for a fast food place In-N-Out has the best tasting burgers I’ve had! They taste nothing like that crap you get from Wendy’s or McDonalds! Jack and I both destroyed our food. Going to In-N-Out was definitely worth the cab ride and I encourage anyone who has not tried In-N-Out to do so. Too bad they don’t have these on the east coast!

Ah man I hate you! We always take a trip (or two) to In-n-Out Burger when in Vegas, so good! 2nd best burger place IMO, next to 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. You gotta give them a try sometime.

I really wish they would have brought In-N-Out into Edmonton instead of Fat Burger. Fat Burger taste’s like A&W but costs twice as much. Maybe next trip to Vegas I’ll have to try to fabled In-N-Out.

When I was working in our San Diego location one of the guys there took me to an In and Out. It was sooo good, and their fresh cut fries are to die for! lol

Too bad they don’t have them up here in Canada either.

Never heard of them, but being from the UK I wouldn’t expect to! Do you guys have Wimpys over there?

THEIR FOOD IS THE GREATEST!!! :) The animal style fries are actually very good…even though I hate onions.

One thing I never knew before was that you can ask for more “SPREAD” sauce, which is their burger sauce similar to thousand island dressing. They give you as much as you like in cold packets for fries or anything :)
