Indeed, in such a situation, there would finally be some decent competition for G and…let’s just say that they would think twice before making controversial decisions in such a scenario

It’s going to be a hard acquisition but if it goes through I hope we’ll indeed get some competition for AdSense. Yahoo’s and Microsoft’s plans to enter the contextual advertising market sounded real promising but it’s pretty disappointing that services like YPN are still only available in the US and on a quite limited scale.
