Missing Out on Another Trade Show
- 12 Comments... What do you have to say?

Finally I would get to see a lot of my friends. Some of my really good friends like John, Stephen, and Jason are all at Computex right now and if you look at the picture above it looks like they are having a great time. I hung out with these guys a lot during CES and I had an awesome time. To bad I’m sitting at home now. Well I can’t promise anything for next year, but I really do hope to go to Computex and some other trade shows besides CES. Have a great time guys!

May I ask why you didn´t go?
I didn’t really plan it at all, and the cost of the flight
Yes It´s quite expensive, something like U$900 from west coast. But on the other hand, hotels are quite cheap.
BTW let´s meet at CES, I´m already planning my trip for January
Yea, I know this 14 year old in my area who gets invited to a lot of these things. We just had coffee recently and he was telling me about CES and everything, and how much fun and attention he received because he was so young.
I think it would be cool just to see the new stuff and travel
i love going to trade shows for the free stuff
the best ones are the sports wear shows!
Same here, I just need to start going to more of them. Only one close to me is Cebit though
Flying to CES, Computex etc will cost me around 1000$ USD. Guess it´s one of the bad parts living in Europe.
I have the same problem. CeBIT is relatively close but I have the feeling that show is less exciting than CES or Computex.
Flying to CES costs me U$1000
To CeBit U$1500
Computex U$2000
I would love to go on one of those some day. Too bad I really don’t know anyone interested enough to tag along(not that I can’t go alone).
What a scary picture of John Chow! ::shivers::
Was at Cebit a few years ago, its quite fun. Just have to get into the partys going on
Even though Corsair messed up our press passes so we had to pay to get in…. Next year I am going again.
Yeah trade shows are awesome. I went to CES this year, my first show. Besides being a total noob, it was sooo much fun! Very cool feeling that people know who you are and know your site.
And yes, its all about networking. I kinda learned that the hard way, but next year is looking to be much better
