Rant!
- 4 Comments... What do you have to say?
This has really been bothering me lately! Why is it that people who don’t have to work because "mommy & daddy" pay for everything think they are better than you? If there is one thing that pisses me off it is people who think they are the shit because their parents have money. Yeah it would be nice if my parents bought me everything and I didn’t have to worry about money, but of course I was raised right and was taught to earn a living not be given it. It just makes me mad when all they have been taught is how to be lazy, and think they are better because thats what they have been told by their parents. And it even makes me more mad when these people try to show off something liker their car and think it makes them "cool". The sad thing is they didn’t earn that car, they were given it. These people are the same people that hate people like John Chow and leave him bad comments. Excuse me, but he earned his money so he deserves it and is allowed to tell you about it. If you want to tell me how cool your new car that your parents bought you is, or about that awesome apartment that your parents pay for then don’t even bother, because people like you make me sick!

True that man! God, how I hate it when people feel it right that they get every damn thing they want, just because mommy and daddy have the clout to toss around. Total bs man! I also hate when people have bad comments about what other people have done! I am proud to know you, and I find you to be one of the biggest motivators around! I don’t work all the time, but I work hard, when I do! I wish my parent would have had a little more money to help me through schooling, and college! It just happened that we lost everything, and ended up moving away from our home city… Shit happens!
But when people who haven’t worked for what they were given, and bash on someone else, that shows that they are inhuman, and have no feelings, or at least are too afraid to show it! Personally, being at the bottom of society has helped me grow to what I am today! I am very intellectual, though rarely show it, as the environment I am in, doesn’t allow it, or really need it, as they wouldn’t understand it anyhow! I am very humble, and I feel helping someone is worth more than having everything I want, or need!
Those who don’t get everything know what I am talking about, and those who have everything wouldn’t know what I am talking about because they are just so stuck up in their own head, that they can’t fathom not having anything! Those are the people who will never know what it is like to have to live on their own, cook, clean, and run a productive life!
His Digg ban sucks.

I hope you are talking about the kids, not the parents. I would think if the parents can afford to pay for everything their kids have then the parents have paid their dues and have sacrificed enough to get to where they are today. It’s not parents’ fault they want everything best for their children. After all, if you are have worked all your life to be successful, and you have seen the society inside and out, wouldn’t you want to protect your kids from it?
On the other hand, kids who do get everything need to appreciate it and be humble about it. A pair of $300 jeans you bought yesterday may be cool but there are other people who had to work 8 hours a day just so they could pay the rent.
I think it’s the kids’ fault. Parents are fine. In fact, kids who get everything would be fine too only if they stayed humble.
I was watching a show where Donal Trump and his son were interviewed on air. And his son said that they didn’t get everything they wanted. They had to earn it. And I think you will find this true with a lot of people who are self-made million/billionaires. They understand the value of the $1 and try to teach their kids the same.

you are right, I just hate the fact that some parents do not teach their kids the value of the dollar, all they are taught is how to use the credit card whenever they want to. And I totally understand parents who want everything for their kids, I would feel the same way if I had kids, but they just need to teach the kids the value of the $1
