Super Bowl Ads 2010
- 9 Comments... What do you have to say?
The ads this years were really not that impressive at all, some of them made we wonder why the companies even paid the money for the spot. What was really surprising was all of the Budweiser and Bud Light ads. They had a total of 8 ads! One that’s sure a lot of money to drop on ad spots and two all those ads are not going to make me choose Bud Light over Miller Lite! Out of all the ads the one that stuck out the most was the Google Search On Ad. This ad marks Google’s first major push into TV advertising. It just showed how powerful Google is and what you can do with it.
The Motorola phone ad was funny, it’s like if you create a crappy phone just put a hot actress in the commercial then people will buy it!
This year’s ads were not that impressive at all!

I watched those and I must say I always wait for the short movie trailers. But this year I was not impressed. Alice in wonderland was interesting, but nothing more.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Google is located waaaay higher on the list of companies that I would ever potentially work for than the other two companies on that list… and this ad shows why. Google, the company that is now more of a universe than a corporate giant, has the most profound ad shown during Super Bowl XLIV, and naturally it was also probably the least expensive to produce (by a lot). Bravo Google, Bravo.
I will agree though, this years ads weren’t THAT amazing. I did like the Dodge Charger one as well though… ha.

The doritos kid was probably the funniest thing that I have heard all of 2010. “Do not touch my mama, and definitely don’t touch my doritos.

I see it, people can view all spots, and then decide for themselves where they stand, if they don’t already know. This is where we have a divide and hypocrisies that are found in both parties; republicans and democrats. The republicans want government to get lost when it comes to fiscal issues, but interfere in social issues.
