The #TIM09 Shipment from Quarterly

Another Quarterly shipment arrived a couple of weeks ago! This is the 9th Quarterly shipment from Tim Ferriss or #TIM09. I have been subscribed to Quarterly since Tim’s second box. Quarterly is a little different from the typical monthly subscription boxes. First it is every quarter and secondly you pick a curator. The curator then picks the items that are in your box. I am a Tim Ferriss fan so I am into the same things as him so his boxes should have tings I like in them. This is one thing I like about Quarterly is you never know what you are going to get.

With the Tim Ferriss Quarterly boxes on thing that started happening is that they have been late, not showing up every quarter. I’m not sure what the reason for this is, but it can be frustrating. To make up for this Tim sent his subscribers a $25 iTunes gift card to hold them over, which was nice. We will factor that into the total value of #TIM09. So what all came in #TIM09?

#TIM09

Rishi Tea Simple Brew Loose Leaf Teapot – $24
Spiceologist Black and Bleu Rub – $14.20
The Crossroads of Should and Must by Elle Luna – $9.51
Thera Cane Max – $39.88
Zot Xtreme Organic Licorice – $3
Urine Reagent Strips, 100 count – $7.99
Ketonix Breath Ketone Analyzer discount Code – $75

So I do have to mention that Ketonix Keytone Analyzer’s are around $150 so getting $75 off a product that you still have to buy does not really count. So we are not including that in the total price of the box. So for the $100 you get $123.58 worth of products including the $25 iTunes gift card, which is not that bad, although previous Tim Ferriss boxes seemed to have a better value.

So what did I like? The Rishi teapot I will definitely use! I have needed a new one for a while especially since it is getting colder here. The Black and Bleu rub I have already used and I really like it! The The Crossroads of Should and Must has been added to my reading list, it is never a bad thing to get a book.

I probably won’t have much use for the Keytone test strips and like I said the discount code is sort of useless if you don’t care about keytones. I haven’t had the chance to use the Thera Can yet, I might give it a try.

Overall the box was pretty good, but as I said previous Tim Ferriss boxes have had a better value.
